PHCCI Attends: Regional Chambers of Commerce & Industry of WA Member Forum
PHCCI’s CEO Rebekah Worthington and General Manager Tina Scott, attended the Regional Chambers of Commerce & Industry of WA Member Forum held over two days.
Day 1 saw a fantastic blend of collaboration and discussions alongside WA Regional Chambers, culminating in a vibrant networking event. Tina and Rebekah engaged with Hon Jackie Jarvis MLC, Minister for Agriculture and Food, Forestry, and Small Business, advocating for our Members.
Day 2 the forum delved into robust discussions and sharing. A heartfelt thank you to the Hon Don Punch MLA for hosting us on this jam-packed day. The discussions resonated with shared challenges in housing, childcare, and rising business costs, issues not just local but statewide and nationwide.
Regional Business in WA, the backbone of our community, took center stage as government leaders, agencies, and policy advisors shared measures to support regional businesses and enhance community livability with a focus on education, healthcare, and policing.
Special thanks to our esteemed speakers:
- Hon Roger Cook, Premier of Western Australia
- Hon Don Punch MLA, Minister for Regional Development
- David Eaton PSM, Commissioner and CEO of the Small Business Development Corporation WA, representing the Hon Jackie Jarvis MLC
